Fortnite Item Shop Token

What You Need

• Access to the Fortnite Treasure Hunters mini-season, since the token is tied to that event. ^{[search-95b80abe44f7]}

Step-by-Step

1. Play Battle Royale matches during the Fortnite Treasure Hunters mini-season, since the token only drops in that mode.^{[search-95b80abe44f7]}

2. Open as many chests as possible. The token is a random loot drop from standard chests, so you do not need to hunt down special rare chests.^{[search-00faa8abdd5e][search-95b80abe44f7]}

3. Watch for the confirmation. When a chest contains the token it glows and shakes for several seconds before a "YOU FOUND PIRATE SHOP ACCESS" message appears on screen.^{[search-00faa8abdd5e][search-b8b20dca16f4]}

4. Play with friends to improve your odds: if any member of your duo, trio or squad finds the token, everyone in the party receives it too.^{[search-00faa8abdd5e][search-b8b20dca16f4]}

5. Return to the lobby and open the Item Shop, then select "Plunder the Item Shop" to view your Pirate Shop access.^{[search-95b80abe44f7]}

6. Choose "Activate Now" to start your free window, then claim eligible cosmetics from the shop while it is active.^{[search-95b80abe44f7][search-b8b20dca16f4]}

Common Mistakes

• Do not expect to gift the free items. Pirate Shop access cannot be used to send cosmetics to other players. ^{[search-95b80abe44f7][search-b8b20dca16f4]}
• Do not assume real-money packs are included. Bundles sold for real currency rather than V-Bucks are excluded. ^{[search-b8b20dca16f4][search-95b80abe44f7]}
• Do not activate immediately if you are waiting for specific items. The free window begins when you activate, so you can wait for the cosmetics you want. ^{[search-95b80abe44f7]}
